The Counselor is an upcoming drama / thriller film directed by Ridley Scott, from an original screenplay by Cormac McCarthy.The
film is rated R for grisly images, graphic violence, strong sexual
content, and language. The film will be dedicated to the memory of the
director's brother Tony Scott, who committed suicide during production, and Matthew Baker, an assistant director on the film who has since passed away. The script written by Pulitzer Prize winner McCarthy will also be released as a book.
